West Dean International Classical Guitar Festival 2021

The 29th West Dean Classical Guitar Festival offers outstanding learning and performing opportunities for classical guitarists of all abilities (grade 2 and above) and age eighteen and above. The course includes repertoire and technique classes, lectures, workshops,  and masterclasses. Students are assigned to an ensemble group according to their ability level and receive two private individual lessons.  There are many additional playing opportunities including the guitar orchestra, student concerts and masterclasses given by internationally acclaimed artists, including festival director Andrew Gough, Zoran Dukic, David Leisner, Gary Ryan, Jan Depreter, Mark Ashford, Alison Bendy, Gerald Garcia, Helen Sanderson, NYGE Fellowship and Mela Guitar Quartet.

 Bursaries are available for 18 to 24 year old students to help with the course fees. Please contact the Bookings Office for further details.
